2010 Outstanding AKL AZ Scholarship/Wabash

Dear Brothers:

The Alumni of Alpha Zeta chapter is pleased to announce that Robert Langenfeld AZ 712 is this year’s recipient of the 2010 Outstanding AKL Alpha Zeta Scholarship.

Robert is the son of Mary and Glen Langenfeld AZ 397 out of Bellevue, NE. Robert has done an outstanding job as an AKL since he pledged a couple of years ago and is very active on campus as a member of the Bearcat Marching Band so you may have seen him on Saturday’s performing for the fans while attending Bearcat Football games.
This scholarship was made possible by you, the Alumni, and your efforts last fall at the 1st Annual EKABS Raffle at the Wabash. We cannot thank those of you who participated last year enough for bringing back these worthwhile scholarships that have been absent for over 25 years.
So now is the time to keep that momentum going for 2011 and go to www.ekabs.net and make a difference. Do not forget, you also have a chance to win $2,000 dollars and eat some of Kansas City area’s finest BBQ at the Wabash along with all the beverages you can handle on Sepetmber 10th in Excelsior Springs. One ticket gets your whole immediate family in on all the festivities of the evening.
There are also rooms still available at The Elms Resort & Spa if you wish to spend the evening, please enter code “AKL” for the prefferred rate and only a one night minimum stay required.
We only have 80 tickets available for purchase and I look forward to seeing you at “The Wabash”.
Repectfully,
Dan Hilliard AZ 394

The New AKL Alpha Zeta Chapter Website

I know its been a while since we have done anything with the website but not anymore! We have completely redone the site from scratch and are planning great things for it. We have installed a program called WordPress to the website which will allow for easier content creation. What does this mean? We will be able to update the site more often and more regularly then ever before.
